We offer an idyllic environment for those who desire to relax in the peace and tranquillity of the French countryside.

Situated in the sloping landscape of the Gatine in the department Deux-Sèvres we are surrounded by the calm and beauty of the French countryside.

This region is one of the sunniest of France.

The Gatine has a very alternating landscape and is known for its fruit cultivation.

It is a perfect surrounding to escape the stress of everyday.

La Foye Henry, our fermette, is a typical Charentaise farmhouse, built on a hill with a view of apple orchards and farmlands cultivated with sunflowers and corn amongst others.

In this countryside you can cycle or make beautiful walks (maps are available).

The medieval town Parthenay with its beautiful castle ruins is situated at approx 20 km from the camping.

The city Niort, the capital of our department, is an interesting and beautiful city with its daily market at approx 30 km drive.

The large city Poitiers with his Futuroscope is at approx 1 hour drive and also at 1 hour drive you can be at the Atlantic coast with the impressive port city La Rochelle and the island Ile de Ré

Between Niort and the coast are the marshes Marais Poitevin with old canals, surrounded by wild flowers and trees, also known as (Green) Venice Verte. A beautiful area for cycling; you can also rent a boat and spend a day on water.

For the fishers amongst youthere is Pescalis nearby, Europe’s first fish complex; the carps can weigh up to 25 kilos!

Near the camping is an 18-hole golf-course with a superb castle only a 20 min drive.

On our camping site we have place for several caravans or tents, all with a view over the sloping landscape.

For a caravan or tent with 2 persons the price is €16.50 per day, extra person € 3.50 per day, use of electricity

€ 3.50 per day.

We have a Elddis caravan for rent, suitable for 2 persons, completely fitted out, including a separate bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and cupboard. The caravan has 2 comfortable couch-beds, a fridge and 4-burner cooker; there is heating and an electric fan in the roof.

The caravan is rented for € 250.- per week, including electricity, cleaning cost € 25.-,

a refundable cash deposit of € 100,- is required.

The caravan is completely fitted with a fully equipped kitchen, you only need to bring your own quilts, pillows, bed linens (or sleeping bags) and towels.

Our camping is open from 1 April till 31 October.

On the first floor of our fermette we have a large guestroom with bathroom and a small kitchen.

The price per day, including breakfast, is € 40 to € 59 for

2 persons;

Per week € 200 to € 325 also for 2 persons
